How To Cook Soy Milk Béchamel Sauce With Garlic, Onion And Bay Leaf Flavor - Recipe

Required products :

  • 400 milliliters of soy milk
  • 100 milliliters of water
  • 1 onion
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (grated)
  • 3 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • salt, pepper

 

Method of preparation :

Peel an onion, cut it into 4-6 pieces and put it in a saucepan. Pour soy milk, water and place the dish on the stove.

Add the garlic, bay leaves and nutmeg.

Once the mixture boils, remove from the heat and close with a lid.

After 20 minutes, remove the onion, garlic and bay leaves.

Mix the oil and cornstarch in a large bowl and place on the hob. Stir until smooth, then pour in the milk, stirring constantly.

Finally, season the sauce and let it boil until it reaches the desired density.
