Learn how to cook "Spanish dessert Churos with chocolate sauce". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar + 1.5 tbsp
  • 1.5 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons oil + 1 liter for frying
  • 1 teaspoon flour

For the chocolate sauce:

  • 100 grams of crushed chocolate
  • 1/2 teaspoon liquid cream

Method of preparation :

Mix the sugar (1/2 cup) with the cinnamon.

Line a suitable baking tray with parchment paper.

In a small bowl pour the water, put on medium heat, add 1.5 tablespoons of sugar, salt and 2 tablespoons of oil, beat everything.

When the mixture boils, remove from the heat, add the flour and knead the dough until a softball is obtained.

Heat oil in a deep saucepan: 190 degrees and the amount of fat to reach about 6-8 centimeters from the height of the dish. Adjust the size of the pan - there should be at least 7 free centimeters in height so that the boiling oil does not come out of the walls.

Pour the dough into a syringe (use a star-shaped tip) and carefully put in boiling oil, making pieces about 10 cm long, cut the dough with a knife or scissors.

Fry until golden brown. Do not put more than 2-3 churos in the bowl.

Remove the prepared ones on paper to drain off the excess fat, then roll in the mixture of sugar and cinnamon.

It is best served with chocolate sauce. Make one by heating 1/2 teaspoon of liquid cream, but do not let it boil. Pour it over the pieces of chocolate and mix until smooth.

Churos is a traditional Spanish dessert served with chocolate sauce or cocoa nut paste.

Enjoy your meal!
