Required products :

1 cup red lentils

5 cloves garlic

50 milliliters of olive oil

4 teaspoons vegetable broth

1/4 teaspoon grated lemon peel

10 grams of cayenne pepper

1 onion

1 tablespoon grated ginger

salt and pepper to taste

30 milliliters of lemon juice

10 grams of cumin

1 cup grated tomatoes

 

Method of preparation :

Wash the lens under running water. Heat olive oil in a saucepan and fry the chopped onion and garlic together with the ginger.

Add salt and pepper to taste, cayenne pepper and cumin, grated tomatoes, lemon juice and zest, lentils and pour the vegetable broth.

Put the dish on the stove and let everything boil for 30 minutes or until the lentils are ready.

Serve with fresh bread and cream.
