Shrimp are a good source of protein, making them ideal for addition to the keto mode. The spiciness in this recipe comes from the ground dried Jalapeno hot peppers with a distinctive smoky taste. If the spicy food is not to your taste, use sweet red pepper or slightly hot pepper (optional).

In a large bowl, combine the shrimp, garlic, ground hot jalapeno pepper, cumin and oregano. Season with salt and pepper to taste and stir. Cover with a lid and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Heat olive oil in a large grill pan over high heat and fry the shrimp for about 5 minutes until pink. Add the onion, peppers and lemon juice and continue frying until the onion is translucent. Remove from the heat and serve, garnished with fresh coriander leaves.
