How To Cook Spinach Casserole With Potatoes, Garlic And Cheese - Recipe

Required products :

  • 1 potato
  • 1 small onion (cut into thin strips)
  • 1 crushed clove of garlic
  • 1 bunch of spinach (shredded or chopped in bulk)
  • 8 eggs
  • 50 - 70 grams of grated cheddar cheese
  • 30 grams of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 20 grams of butter
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

 

Method of preparation :

Preheat oven to 200 degrees.

Peel a potato, cut it into small cubes, pour boiling water over it and let it boil for about 5 minutes. Then drain the water.

Heat olive oil in a large bowl, fry the chopped onion for about 2-3 minutes, add the garlic, and a minute later pour the spinach. Leave the mixture on the stove until the spinach softens a bit (if necessary, pour 1-2 tablespoons of water).

In a bowl, beat the eggs together with the grated cheese, add salt to taste and add the spinach with onions and potatoes.

Melt the butter in a small pan and pour the resulting mixture into it. Cook until the edges harden. Then place the dish in the preheated oven and let it bake for another 5 - 15 minutes (estimate the time at the moment, the middle of the casserole should be firm.
