How To Cook Spinach With Boiled Eggs In Béchamel Sauce - Recipe

Required products :

  • 1 kg of frozen spinach
  • 6 boiled eggs
  • 30 grams of butter
  • 30 grams of flour
  • 1/2 liter of fresh milk
  • 80 grams of grated yellow cheese (or hard goat cheese)
  • a pinch of black pepper, nutmeg and salt
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil or vegetable oil

Method of preparation :

Fry the frozen spinach for 6-7 minutes on low heat in olive oil / oil, stirring occasionally.

Melt the butter in a saucepan, remove from the heat and then pour the flour into it. Stir until you get a homogeneous mixture, in which you pour the milk, add a pinch of the three spices. Stir well and put the pan on medium heat. Boil the sauce until thickened (stir in the meantime).

Mix the béchamel with the spinach and half of the grated cheese. Pour the mixture into a pan, arrange the eggs, cut into quarters, and sprinkle with the remaining cheese.

Bake the dish in the oven at 180-200 degrees. When the surface is covered with crust, you can serve.
