How To Cook Sponge Roll With Butter Cream And Walnuts - Recipe

Required products :

7 eggs (5 for marshmallows + 2 for cream)

350 grams of sugar (100 for marshmallows + 250 grams for cream)

4 tablespoons flour (for marshmallows)

1/2 cup walnuts (for marshmallows)

1 packet of vanilla sugar (for marshmallows)

200 grams of butter (for cream)

powdered sugar for sprinkling

 

Method of preparation :

Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff foam is obtained. Add 100 grams of sugar to the yolks, also vanilla sugar, stir. Then pour the egg whites, flour and ground walnuts. Mix everything thoroughly until smooth.

Cover the bottom of the pan with baking paper, grease with oil, put the dough, pouring it in a thin stream, level the surface and immediately place in the oven.

Let the marshmallow bake for 15 - 20 minutes, check the readiness with a toothpick.

Remove on a towel sprinkled with powdered sugar, roll up thoroughly with the towel.

Make a cream. Beat 2 eggs (to be chilled) with 250 grams of sugar, add the softened butter and beat once more.

Unroll the cooled roll, remove the towel, smear the surface with butter cream and again form a roll, which is sprinkled with powdered sugar.

You can cover with chocolate glaze and walnuts.
