How To Cook Sponge Roll With Halva And Cottage Cheese Cream - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Sponge roll with halva and cottage cheese cream". Delicious recipe.

Necessary products

For the dough:

170 grams of flour
170 grams of sugar
2-3 tablespoons oil
5 eggs
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
pinch of salt

For cream:

3-4 tablespoons sour cream
4 tablespoons powdered sugar
200 grams of sunflower halva
500 grams of cottage cheese

Required products :

Mash the cottage cheese together with the sour cream.

Add the diced halva.

Stir and sweeten with powdered sugar if necessary.

Divide the eggs into yolks and whites. Add the oil, leavening agent to the yolks and stir.

Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until "hard peaks", gradually adding a little of the sugar.

Then carefully add the yolks, stirring with a wooden spoon and movements from bottom to top.

Gradually add the flour, stirring again from the bottom up. Distribute the finished dough evenly in a pan, the bottom of which you have covered with parchment. Bake in a preheated 170-180 degree oven until dry, but do not overdo it (about 10-15 minutes are enough).

Transfer the marshmallows together with the paper on a wet towel. Roll up the roll without removing the parchment. Wrap in a towel for 5 minutes, then unroll and remove the paper. Spread most of the cream on the marshmallows and form a roll again. Spread it with the remaining cream and store in the refrigerator overnight.

The wait is worth it!

Enjoy your meal!
