Required products :

  • 150 milliliters of olive oil
  • 8 sausages
  • 4 tablespoons fresh rosemary
  • 2 cloves garlic, cut into four
  • 1 teaspoon dried hot peppers
  • 4 carrots, chopped
  • 4 stalks of celery, finely chopped
  • 2 cans of 400 grams of white beans (drained)
  • 2 cans of 400 grams of red beans
  • salt to taste
  • 400 milliliters of hot water
  • 20 cherry tomatoes, halved

for garlic bread:

  • bread of choice
  • olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic

Method of preparation :

Put olive oil in a saucepan and when it heats up, fry the sausage, garlic, rosemary and ground hot pepper in it for 1 minute.

Add the carrots, celery and after 3 minutes add the canned beans.

Add salt and hot water. Cover and cook for 20 minutes.

Remove the lid and remove the sausage, cut it into large pieces.

Return it to the pan, add the cherry tomatoes and cook uncovered for 10 minutes until the sauce begins to thicken slightly.

Meanwhile, prepare the garlic slices. Coat them with olive oil and toast them (preferably on the grill), and while still hot, rub with garlic.

Serve the stew with garlic bread immediately after cooking.
