How To Cook Stew With Beef Tongue, Potatoes And Vegetables - Recipe

Necessary products:

 

  • 300 grams of veal tongue, cleaned
  • 1 onion
  • 1 teaspoon tomato juice
  • 1 tea glass of red wine
  • salt, black pepper, paprika
  • 100 grams of frozen peas
  • 400 grams of potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 60 grams of butter
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • a few sprigs of fresh parsley
  • 2 bay leaves

 

Method of preparation:

 

Boil the tongue in a pressure cooker and when ready, cool and cut into pieces. Roll them in flour and fry in hot oil. Add onion, potatoes, tomato juice and wine.

Stir and season the dish with salt, black and red pepper to taste. Add the bay leaves, parsley and peas. Pour 1 cup of water, reduce the heat and simmer for an hour.

Cook on low heat for another 30 minutes, cool and pour into plates. Serve and eat with pleasure.
