How To Cook Stewed Chicken In Wine And Cognac With Olives, Tomatoes And Mushrooms - Recipe

Required products :

1 chicken or use chicken of your choice
3 tablespoons flour
3 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons cognac
4 tomato
pinch marjoram (2 grams)
1 teaspoon dry white wine
2 cloves garlic
250 grams fresh mushrooms
1 bay leaf
50 grams of chopped green olives
2 tablespoons finely chopped parsley
salt and ground black pepper to taste

Method of preparation :

Cut the chicken into portions, roll them in the flour, seasoned with salt and ground black pepper, then fry in a hot mixture of butter and oil. Add the bay leaf, garlic, a pinch of marjoram, grated or chopped tomatoes, pour the wine and cognac. Close the pan with a lid and let the products simmer on low heat for 25 minutes. Then add the chopped mushrooms and green olives, 10 minutes later remove the dish from the heat, sprinkle with parsley and serve with toasted white bread.
