Learn how to cook "Stewed chicken livers in onion jam and red wine sauce". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 1/2 kg of chicken livers
  • 2 heads of old onions
  • 1 tea glass of good quality red wine
  • 3 tablespoons onion jam
  • brown sugar if necessary
  • black and red pepper
  • sol

Method of preparation :

Fry the livers on both sides and remove to a plate.

Cut the onion heads, pour into the same pan and cook until golden.

Then season with black pepper and salt, add the onion jam, pour the wine and leave the mixture on the stove until the onion softens.

If the onion is not ready and the wine has evaporated, pour some more of the alcoholic beverage. Taste the sauce and add a little brown sugar (or jam) if you feel tartaric acid.

Sprinkle with red pepper and pour the liver over the sauce. Let cook for about 5-7 minutes and turn off the heat.

You can serve the dish with a garnish of mashed potatoes.

If you have some left over, turn it into a pate by adding fried carrots and grind everything with a blender.

Have a good time!
