How To Cook Stewed Fresh Potatoes With Garlic And Red Pepper - Recipe

Required products :

  • 1/2 kg of potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • black pepper and salt to taste
  • 1/2 head old onion
  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon water
  • parsley to taste


Method of preparation :

Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a pan and fry the onion in it until soft. Then add the chopped garlic cloves and red pepper. Fry for a few minutes and add the fresh potatoes (whether and how you cut them depends on their size), pour the water and add salt.

Close the pan with a lid and as soon as the water boils, reduce the temperature of the hob. Cook over medium heat until the water evaporates (about 5 minutes).

Then pour a tablespoon of olive oil, stir and fry for another five minutes or until the potatoes are covered with a golden crust.

Serve sprinkled with fresh parsley and black pepper.
