How To Cook Stewed Peas With Onions And Bacon In White Wine - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Stewed peas with onions and bacon in white wine". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 50 grams of bacon
  • 1/2 head onion
  • 300 grams of canned peas
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt or to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon of allspice or to taste
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 tablespoons semi-dry white wine (but you can use other types)

Method of preparation :

Cut onions into semicircles, bacon - into thin strips. Put oil to heat and pour in onion, bacon, season. When the onion turns red, pour in the wine and let the products simmer for 5 minutes.

Drain the water from the peas and add it to the pan with the other ingredients. Cover with a lid and let everything cook for another 10 minutes.

The garnish is ready.
