How To Cook Stewed Pork With Roasted Chestnuts And Onions In Red Wine - Recipe

Required products :

3 kilograms of pork
2 kilograms of chestnuts
3 onions
3 cloves garlic
4 tomatoes
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 teaspoon dry red wine
1 liter of water

 

Method of preparation :

Cut the meat into small pieces.

 

Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Fry them in hot oil and add the pork.

 

 

Let everything cook until golden.

 

Pour the wine.

 

When it evaporates, season with salt, ground black pepper to taste and pour the water. Close the pan with a lid and let the dish simmer on low heat for about an hour.

In the meantime, deal with chestnuts. Peel them and arrange in a tray. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees.

 

When they are ready, peel them and leave for the moment.

 

Grate the tomatoes, mix them with the puree and add to the dish with the pork. Let simmer together for 30 minutes.

It's the chestnuts' turn. Add them to the other products and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

 

 

The dish is ready.
