How To Cook Strudel Stuffed With Cherries And Dark Chocolate - Recipe

Necessary products

For the filling:

500 grams of frozen cherries (thaw before use)
50 grams of grated dark chocolate
100 grams of sugar
1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
pinch of cinnamon
45 grams of butter
45 grams of finely crushed rusks or breadcrumbs


For the dough:

225 grams of oil
25 milliliters of olive oil
1/2 teaspoon of water
a pinch of salt

For sprinkling:

powdered sugar
chocolate shavings

 

Method of preparation :

Thaw the cherries, remove the stones, put in a bowl and sprinkle with sugar, grated dark chocolate and lemon zest, cinnamon. Add the softened butter and breadcrumbs.

Knead a soft dough of flour, olive oil, hot water and add a pinch of salt. Roll it out thinly and spread the filling evenly over the surface, leaving a few inches of the edges free.

Roll up a roll and carefully place it in a pan that you have previously greased with oil and covered the bottom with parchment.

Punch the dough in several places with a fork and bake the strudel at 200 degrees for about 40 minutes.

When you take it out of the oven, wait for it to cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar and chocolate shavings.
