Required products :

  • 4 cambi peppers
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon breadcrumbs (or ground bread crumbs)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 can of tuna (200 grams)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • grated cheddar, swiss cheese or parmesan

Method of preparation :

Blanch the cleaned peppers for 5 minutes in boiling water and drain well.

Combine onion and egg, 1/2 teaspoon of breadcrumbs, milk, lemon juice, fish and season.

Fill the peppers with this mixture.

Mix the butter and the remaining half a cup of breadcrumbs and sprinkle over the stuffed peppers.

Bake the stuffed peppers for 15 minutes at 200 degrees, and 5 minutes before you finish baking, sprinkle the peppers with grated cheese of your choice.
