Necessary products:

 

  • half a kilo of flour
  • a packet of instant yeast
  • two tablespoons of olive oil
  • a cup of warm water
  • pinch of salt and sugar
  • 4-5 large onions
  • two tablespoons of olive oil

 

for the stuffing:

 

  • 250 grams of minced meat
  • a grated carrot
  • one marinated pepper
  • 2 crushed garlic cloves
  • chopped dill and parsley
  • 150 grams of grated yellow cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste

 

Method of preparation:

 

Knead the dough from the flour, yeast, olive oil, water, salt and sugar. Leave it to rise, during which time clean, wash and dry the onion. Cut and remove the inside, chop it finely, fry in hot olive oil. Add minced meat, carrots, peppers, garlic, dill, parsley. Season with pepper, salt and stir.

When ready, fill the vegetables with the mixture and sprinkle with yellow cheese. Divide the dough into pieces, roll out the crusts and wrap the onions in them. Form balls, arrange them in a tray lined with a sheet of parchment and bake until done. Serve warm with a garnish of your choice.
