How To Cook Stuffed Onions With Minced Meat And Mushrooms, Baked In Bacon - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Stuffed onions with minced meat and mushrooms, baked in bacon". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

2 onions
500 g ground beef
strips bacon
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1/4 cup sliced mushrooms
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon spicy ketchup
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon Worcester sauce
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
sauce for barbecue

Method of preparation :

Preheat the oven to 220 degrees (or prepare charcoal).

Peel an onion, remove the top and bottom, cut into two pieces, then divide into layers. To make the dish, use only the large ones, and cut the rest into small cubes.

Add the chopped onion to the minced meat, add the mushrooms, parsley, sugar, sauces and breadcrumbs. Knead everything.

Form balls, which you "dress" in the onion halves.

Wrap in strips of bacon, which should cover the onion completely and get small balls. Secure them with a toothpick so that they do not develop during baking.

Bake the appetizer in a preheated 220 degree oven for about 40 minutes. Then pour in the barbecue sauce and return to the oven for another 5 minutes.

Enjoy your meal!
