How To Cook Stuffed Peppers In Cream Sauce With Onions - Recipe

Required products :

  • 500 grams of minced meat
  • 200 grams of rice
  • several peppers (the number depends on their size)
  • 2 medium onions + 1 small
  • 2 medium carrots
  • 300 grams of sour cream
  • 70 grams of tomato puree
  • oil
  • salt, pepper and other spices to taste

 

Method of preparation :

Pour boiling water over the rice (do not boil it) and let it stand for 30 minutes. Fry the chopped onions (2 medium heads) and carrots in oil.

Mix the minced meat with the rice, onion, season to taste and fill the peppers with the resulting mixture. Put them in a pan with a little oil and fry on both sides until golden brown. You can close the container with a lid during cooking.

 

Stew a small onion, in a saucepan, transfer the peppers and sprinkle with your favorite spices.

 

Make the topping by mixing the tomato puree with the cream, season with salt and pepper. Pour the sauce over the peppers.

 

Let the dish simmer for about 20 minutes (or until ready).
