Peel and slice the onion, fry it in olive oil, add the chopped garlic, and a few minutes later the mushrooms, cut into pieces. Pour the tomato juice into the mixture, put the washed bulgur grains and fry the stuffing.
When you remove it from the stove, season with 1 teaspoon of ground black pepper and salt, the same amount of sugar, add the remaining spices and raisins.
Mix well and fill the peppers with the mixture. Arrange them in a deep saucepan, fill with water, add lemon juice and cook until the bulgur is ready (about half an hour).
