How To Cook Stuffed Peppers With Millet And Mushrooms - Recipe

Required products :

6 fresh peppers for stuffing
1 teaspoon millet
1 onion
1 medium carrot
250 grams fresh or frozen mushrooms
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 tablespoon tomato paste
1 - 1.5 teaspoons vegetable broth or water
salt, ground black pepper and others spices to taste

Method of preparation :

Heat olive oil in a pan and pour in finely chopped onions. 2-3 minutes later add the grated carrot, and after a minute the tomato puree and chopped mushrooms.
Let everything simmer until the liquid evaporates and then just put what you have previously washed under hot running water. The products should be prepared for a few minutes, then pour the broth or water. Season to taste, close the container with a lid, remove from the heat and leave until the mixture absorbs the liquid.
During this time, clean the peppers from the tails and seeds. Fill them with millet.
You can bake in the oven or steam.
