How To Cook Stuffed Peppers With Minced Chicken And Bacon - Recipe

Required products :

  • 4 sweet peppers for stuffing (with a total weight of about 400 grams)
  • 500 grams of chicken fillet
  • spices (salt, pepper and others optional)
  • 2 pieces of bacon (can be replaced with ham)
  • 5-6 peeled tomatoes
  • 3 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 1 egg
  • salt, cayenne, sweet red and black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs
  • butter
  • 125 milliliters of sour cream or sour cream
  • lemon juice
  • Worcestershire sauce


Method of preparation :

Wash the peppers, cut them in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and hard "partitions" from the inside, which you sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Grind the chicken fillet, cut the bacon into small cubes.

Cut two of the tomatoes in half, remove the seeds and the flesh, and cut the rest into strips, which you mix with the pieces of bacon.

Add parsley, egg, black and cayenne pepper, Worcestershire sauce, tomatoes with bacon and salt to the minced meat.

Fill the pepper halves with this mixture and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Put a piece of butter on top and arrange in a pre-greased pan.

Cut the remaining tomatoes into quarters and distribute in the dish around the peppers, also put the fleshy part of the tomatoes, which you removed earlier.

To the preferred cream add lemon juice to taste, red and black pepper, salt. Drizzle the peppers with the sauce and place the pan in the oven without closing with a lid.

Let the dish cook at a temperature of 200 degrees for about half an hour.

Serve the stuffed peppers slightly chilled.
