Wash the peppers, clean them from the stalks and seeds and put in boiling water for 3-4 minutes.
Make the filling. Boil the rice until semi-finished, do not drain the water.
Finely chop the meat and fry it or use minced meat.
Peel an onion, cut it into small cubes, grate the carrots.
Fry onions in hot oil first, then add the carrots. Fry until done.
Wash the mushrooms and boil them for 30-35 minutes, then grind.
Mix the meat / minced meat with the mushrooms, fried vegetables and rice. Add salt and season to taste.
Fill the peppers with this combination, remembering that the rice is not completely ready and will swell even more.
Start making the sauce.
In a large saucepan, mix the cream with the tomato puree and pour a little water. Add salt and spices to taste.
Arrange the peppers in the sauce, place the dish on the stove and as soon as the contents boil, close with a lid.
Let the peppers simmer on low heat for about 40 minutes.
