Necessary products:

  • 8 peppers for stuffing
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 stalk of celery
  • 2 onions
  • 200 grams of cabbage
  • 1 teaspoon tomato juice
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • parsley

Method of preparation:

Make "minced meat" from vegetables. To do this, cut onions, carrots, celery, chop the cabbage into straws and fry everything in butter. Add salt to taste and allow to cool.

Cut the top of the peppers so that they can be used for "lids" later, clean the seeds. Then immerse the peppers in boiling water for 12 minutes, drain the water with a colander and fill with the filling when cool. Arrange the stuffed peppers in a row in a suitable container, pour the tomato juice over them, if you have any of the "minced meat" left, add it and stew for 20 minutes.

Serve the dish cold and sprinkled with chopped parsley.
