How To Cook Stuffed Potatoes With Bacon And Cheese - Recipe

Required products :

  • 4 large potatoes
  • 4 slices of bacon, cut into cubes
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons grated yellow cheese
  • 125 milliliters of sour cream
  • 4 green onion stalks, finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • lubricating oil

Method of preparation :

  • Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and bake the potatoes directly on the grill for about 45-60 minutes, depending on their size.
  • Meanwhile, sauté the bacon in a pan over medium heat. Sprinkle with a little water and cook for about 10-15 minutes until evenly browned.
  • Cut the potatoes lengthwise into two equal halves without cutting them completely and carve the inside, leaving a wall about 5 millimeters thick.
  • Transfer the meat to a deep bowl, mash it and add the sour cream, onion and 2/3 of the yellow cheese.
  • Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper and mix well.
  • Fill the potatoes, sprinkle with the rest of the cheese and arrange them in a greased pan.
  • Bake in a preheated 180 degree oven for about 15 minutes, until the cheese is melted without toasting.
  • Serve the stuffed potatoes warm.
