Required products :

1 whole turkey

500 grams of peeled and boiled chestnuts
500 grams of rice
100 milliliters of liquid cream
1/2 teaspoon caramel sauce
3 sprigs of rosemary
2 sprigs of basil
2 sprigs of tarragon
1 teaspoon cinnamon
salt and pepper to taste

 

Method of preparation :

Clean and wash the turkey, then rub it with salt, pepper, cinnamon and a mixture of ground herbs.

Leave for about an hour so that it can absorb the aromas and then fill with rice and chestnuts (leave some of them for the sauce). Sew the bird and place in the oven for an hour at a temperature of 200 degrees.

Meanwhile, make the sauce. To do this, first fry the reserved chestnuts on high heat for 10-15 minutes. Then cut them into small pieces. Add the cream and caramel sauce to them and let the combination simmer for 5 minutes.

Serve the finished turkey with the aromatic sauce, do not forget to remove the thread.
