How To Cook Summer Omelette With Tomatoes And Cheese - Recipe

Required products :

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon fresh milk
  • 2 tablespoons tomato sauce
  • 3 tablespoons grated cheese
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon cherry tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon finely ground sea salt
  • black pepper to taste

Method of preparation :

 

  • In a large bowl, beat the eggs with the milk and salt. Season with pepper to taste and stir.
  • Add the tomato sauce and 1 tablespoon grated yellow cheese. Stir.
  • Heat olive oil in a large cast iron skillet (or oven-safe) over medium heat.
  • Pour the egg mixture and stir briefly using a spatula.
  • Continue to bake the omelette until 1/3 of the eggs are still liquid.
  • Cover it tightly with the chopped cherry tomatoes and sprinkle with the remaining yellow cheese.
  • Reduce heat, cover and cook for another 10 minutes.
  • Separate the edges with a spatula and gently shake the pan.
  • Bake in a preheated oven for 3 minutes.
  • Allow the frittata to cool for 10 minutes, separate the edges again and gently shake the pan.
  • Slide on a plate of suitable size, cut and serve.
