Necessary products:

  • 100 g butter
  • 1 egg + 1 yolk
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 g sol
  • 1.5 tsp dry yeast
  • 150 ml of fresh milk
  • 3 tsp flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 0.5 tsp raisins
  • spices to taste

Method of preparation:

Mix the melted butter with the warm milk and the lightly beaten egg. Add the flour with the sugar, yeast, salt and spices. Knead the dough. It should be soft, slightly sticky and elastic. Add the raisins to it. Leave it to rise and then cut into equal pieces, which you shape into balls. Place them in suitable baking tins or use one large form in which to arrange all the loaves. Spread them with the beaten yolk to get a shine and if you wish, you can sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 180 - 200 degrees, and the time depends on the size of the balls.
