Required products :
For the vanilla sauce:
cake pan with a diameter of 25-26 centimeters
Method of preparation :
Roast the walnuts in a dry pan (without using fat). They should become fragrant and acquire a brownish coating. Leave a little for decoration, which you cut with a knife or crush, and grind the rest.
Grate the zucchini with a medium or large grater.
Sift the flour and add the vanilla sugar, salt, baking soda, baking powder and walnuts.
Beat 3 eggs with the mixer (they should increase in volume and get a homogeneous mass).
Then, without stopping to beat, add the sugar twice. Pour in the oil and beat once more.
Order half of the flour with the walnuts, mix thoroughly with a spatula and then put the grated zucchini. Pour the remaining dry mixture and distribute the finished dough in the prepared form, the bottom of which you have covered with parchment.
Bake for about an hour at 160 degrees in the oven. The cake will swell evenly and turn red. Remove to cool on a wire rack.
Until this happens, boil the vanilla sauce.
Beat the egg with the sugar, add the flour and the vanilla sweet crystals. Pour boiling milk combined with cream into this mixture. Stir while cooking. Cook until thickened over low heat.
Cover the cooled cake with the aromatic sauce and sprinkle with the crushed walnuts.
You can make the dessert using cocoa, cinnamon and / or other favorite additives in the dough. Replace the vanilla glaze with chocolate if you prefer.
