Necessary products:

500 milliliters of fresh milk

50 grams of may

1 egg for the dough + 1 for spreading

150 grams of sugar

1 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon cardamom

1 kg of flour

100 - 150 grams of butter

raisins and sugar for sprinkling

Method of preparation:

Heat the milk and dissolve the yeast in it. Add the egg, sugar, salt and cardamom. Add a little flour to make a thick mixture and beat. Then pour the rest of it and knead the dough with your hands. Leave a little to sprinkle when shaping the loaves and continue to knead until the dough is smooth and elastic. Add the softened butter and continue to knead until the mixture begins to separate from your hands. Then put in a large bowl, cover with a towel and leave the dough in a warm place to rise twice. When this happens, transfer it to a board sprinkled with flour and form small round loaves. Arrange them in a tray and let them rise once more. Brush them with beaten egg and sprinkle with sugar and raisins. Bake at 220 degrees for 8-10 minutes (or until done).
