Required products :

  • 200 milliliters of fresh milk
  • 220 grams of sugar (20 grams for the dough and 200 grams for the sugar coating)
  • 11 grams of dry yeast
  • 300 grams of butter (200 grams for the dough and 100 grams for the crust)
  • vanilla to taste
  • pinch of salt
  • 4 eggs
  • 500 grams of flour
  • 400 milliliters of liquid cream

 

Method of preparation :

Heat the milk, dissolve the dry yeast and 20 grams of sugar in it, stir and leave for 15-20 minutes.

Mix softened butter with the eggs, which you add one by one. Also add a pinch of salt and vanilla to taste.

Combine the mixture of milk and yeast with that of the butter and eggs, add the sifted flour and stir.

The dough is sticky, cover it with a lid and leave for 30-40 minutes to rise.

Meanwhile, prepare the sugar coating mixture.

Mix the cold butter with the sugar, add the vanilla to taste. Mash with a fork or a boiled potato press, then put in the fridge.

When the dough rises, knead it lightly and spread it on the bottom of a tray on parchment paper. Cover the form with a towel and leave for 15-20 minutes.

Make indentations on the dough, cover with the sugar mixture and bake for 40-45 minutes in the oven at 170-180 degrees.

Then remove the pan from the appliance, pour the cream over the surface and return the pie to the oven for another 7-10 minutes to bake.

Wait for it to cool slightly before serving.
