How To Cook Sweet Potato Meatballs With Honey, Walnuts And Ginger - Recipe

Required products :

  • 300 grams of boiled potatoes
  • 180 grams of flour
  • 2 lightly beaten eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated dried ginger
  • 60 grams of butter + a little for frying
  • honey
  • walnuts
  • 3 teaspoons soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Method of preparation :

Mix the flour, baking soda, ginger, nutmeg and salt.

Peel the potatoes and boil them in salted water or bake in the oven, wrapping them in foil. Mash with a fork and add the eggs and butter, then the dry mixture. You will get a thick dough.

Heat a little butter in a suitable pan, scoop out the mixture with a spoon and fry the meatballs (about 4 minutes on each side are enough - they should turn red. Press the dough before putting in the fat to flatten and flatten the surface.

Drizzle the prepared meatballs with honey or maple syrup and sprinkle with crushed walnuts. You can also pour melted butter.
