Learn how to cook "Sweet rolls with cream cheese, walnuts and raspberry jam". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 2 1/2 teaspoons flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon crystal sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon cold butter, cut into cubes
  • 220 grams of cream cheese at room temperature
  • peel of 1 orange
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons chopped walnuts
  • 1 teaspoon raspberry jam or jelly
  • 1/2 cup dried raspberries or strawberries
  • 1 broken egg

Method of preparation :

Mix the flour, baking powder, 1/4 teaspoon of sugar, 1 teaspoon of salt and mix with a mixer with dough attachments. Add the butter and stir until crumbs are formed.

Cut the cream cheese and add it. Let the ingredients mix for another 1 minute.

Take the dough out on a floured surface and divide it into two parts. Wrap each in foil and refrigerate for 30-40 minutes.

Meanwhile, mix the orange peel, nuts, jam and remaining salt.

Take one of the dough out of the fridge and roll it out between two sheets of parchment paper that you have floured. Spread with half of the filling.

Turn the dough so that its long side is towards you and roll it into a roll. Cool it this way for 60 minutes.

Roll out and roll the second dough in the same way.

Grind the dried fruits and add the remaining 1/4 cup of sugar to them.

Brush the rolls with egg and sprinkle with half of the fruit sugar. Cut them into pieces at a slight diagonal and arrange them in two trays lined with baking paper (arrange the sweets upright).

Bake for 28-30 minutes until dark brown.

Allow to cool before moving them from the pan.

After cooling, sprinkle with the remaining raspberry sugar.
