Make this delicious sandwich in which the bread is replaced with vanilla cake. In this way you can use the rest of the cake, and at the same time prepare something memorable. The sweet sandwich with brie cheese and fig jam is the perfect breakfast.

Required products :

  • 2 slices of cupcake
  • 2 thin slices of brie cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fig jam
  • 1 small sprig of rosemary, finely chopped
  • lubricating oil

Method of preparation :

Start by placing half of the brie cheese on one piece of cake. Spread the fig jam on top. Place the remaining brie and close with the second slice of cake.

Put a little oil in a small pan to melt. When it starts to form bubbles, add rosemary to release its aroma.

Leave for a few seconds to taste the spice oil.

Bake the sandwiches in the fragrant butter until the cake is golden and crispy and the cheese begins to melt.

At this point, put a little more oil in the pan and turn so that it can be fried on the other side.

When both sides of the sandwich are golden, remove from the heat and wait a few minutes before serving.

This sweet sandwich is very interesting because it allows you to use even the rest of the cake. Brie cheese has an almost neutral taste that combines well with fruit. You can use any type of jam - raspberry, apricot or honey. Put fresh fruit, and when you are overwhelmed by the rest of the Easter cake, you can easily replace the cake with it.
