Necessary products:

 

  • 2 teaspoons almond flour
  • 1 teaspoon soft butter
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 3/4 tea cups cornmeal
  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3 eggs (at room temperature)
  • peels of two lemons

 

for syrup

 

  • juice of two lemons
  • half a cup of powdered sugar

 

Method of preparation:

 

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and place the grill in the middle. Cover the cake tin with parchment paper. In a bowl put the butter, sugar and beat until smooth.

In another bowl, mix the semolina, almond flour and baking soda. Combine the two mixtures and add one egg. Stir, add the other two and the lemon zest. Pour the mixture into the form and bake for 40 minutes.

When ready, cool and make the syrup. To do this, mix the lemon juice and powdered sugar in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer until thickened.

Spread the syrup on the cake, grate the lemon zest as desired and cool again for 20 minutes. Cut, serve and enjoy.
