Necessary products:

  • 1 tsp strong tea
  • 80 grams of raisins
  • 80 grams of butter
  • 100 grams of powdered sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 tsp grated lemon peel
  • 250 grams of wheat flour
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • For the glaze:
  • 120 grams of powdered sugar
  • lemon juice
  • water

Method of preparation:

Put the raisins in the tea, place on the stove and simmer for 5 minutes. Let cool and drain. Set the tea and raisins aside. Mix the soft butter with the sugar, add the egg yolks, lemon zest, a pinch of salt and start adding a teaspoon of sifted flour mixed with baking powder. Beat slowly and pour a little of the iced tea. Finally, put the raisins in the dough and mix with a spoon.

Pour the finished mixture into a baking dish, pre-greased and sprinkled with breadcrumbs. Bake at 180 degrees for 50-60 minutes.

The glaze is prepared by mixing the indicated ingredients for it and stirring with a spoon until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Pour it over the cake and leave for a while.
