Use the biscuit base to make three different options. Finally, you can replace the oranges with another fruit or skip them altogether.

Required products :

  • 2 teaspoons flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 tea cup dried blueberries
  • 1/2 teaspoon powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon crystal sugar
  • 3/4 cup soft butter
  • 1 teaspoon grated orange peel
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 240 grams of melted white chocolate (dark on request) for dipping
  • dried orange slices

for option with apricots:

  • 3/4 tea cup finely chopped dried apricots
  • grated lemon peel (instead of orange)

for option with dried cherries:

  • 3/4 tea cup dried cherries
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract

Method of preparation :

In a bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.

With a few pulsations in a food processor, combine the blueberries with the icing and granulated sugar to cut the fruit very finely. Pour into a bowl.

Add the butter and stir, add the vanilla, orange peel and cinnamon. Add the flour and knead. Divide the dough into two equal parts. Shape each into a roll with a diameter of 5 cm and wrap in foil. Refrigerate overnight (If you want, you can freeze the dough for up to 2 weeks before using it. Then spend the night in the refrigerator and continue the recipe).

The next day, turn the oven to 175 degrees.

Cut each roll into slices about 1 cm thick and arrange them in a tray lined with baking paper at a distance of at least 2.5-3 cm from each other.

Bake for 15-17 minutes, until lightly golden at the end.

Cool them for 5 minutes in the pan, then separate with a spatula and cool completely.

Melt the chocolate and dip half of the biscuits in it, arrange them on paper. Place a slice of orange on top. Wait for the chocolate to harden and store in tightly closed boxes for up to 2 weeks.

For the cherry variant: replace the blueberries with cherries, add almond extract in addition to vanilla.

For the option with apricots: instead of blueberries, put apricots, and instead of orange - lemon peel.
