How To Cook Tomato Soup With Cream, Cheddar And Bacon - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Tomato soup with cream, cheddar and bacon". Delicious recipe.

Necessary products:

 

  • 1 kg of ripe tomatoes, peeled and grated
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 onion, grated
  • 3 cloves garlic, pressed
  • 2 teaspoons tomato juice
  • 1 teaspoon cooking cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 5 fine slices of bacon
  • 2 tea cups grated cheddar

 

Method of preparation:

 

Heat a dry pan and toast the bacon. Crush it and set it aside. Heat olive oil in a pan, fry onions, garlic, tomatoes and season with salt and pepper.

Pour the tomato juice, add the basil, sugar, tomato paste and cheddar. Stir and reduce the heat. Cook over low heat for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Cool the soup, garnish with sour cream and sprinkle with bacon. Pour into bowls and serve.
