How To Cook Tomato Soup With Cream Cheese And Croutons - Recipe

Required products :

  • finely chopped bread with yeast, without crusts (about 2 tea cups)
  • 1/4 tea cup olive oil
  • 1 kg of tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 bunch of basil
  • 4 cloves garlic, peeled and cut in half
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon champagne or white wine vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons Worcester sauce

for cream cheese:

  • 125 grams of cream cheese
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley and chives
  • finely grated lemon peel and the juice of half a citrus

Method of preparation :

Turn the oven to 180 degrees.

Drizzle the bread with olive oil and stir. Put in a pan and bake for 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, grind the tomatoes, garlic and basil in a food processor and pour into a saucepan.

Add sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and season. Cook for 10 minutes.

Prepare the cream cheese by mixing it with all the spices.

Serve the soup with cream cheese, croutons and fresh seasoning of your choice. You can dip the rolls in cream cheese and then put them in the soup.
