Necessary products:

  • 1 veal tongue
  • 3 cloves garlic (or to taste)
  • 4 sec. l. mayonnaise
  • 1-2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • salt and pepper - to taste

Method of preparation:

Wash the tongue, pierce it with a knife, put it in a saucepan with salted water, add 1-2 cloves of garlic, black peppercorns, parsley. Cook until ready. When cooked, place in cold water, allow to cool and remove the shell. Cut into thin straws or cubes. Finely chop the walnuts and garlic cloves, add the tongue, a spoonful of vinegar and mayonnaise. Mix well, pour into a salad bowl and garnish with walnuts!
