Aromatic almonds give turkey schnitzels a fine and crispy crust. And the garnish of fresh arugula and juicy pomegranate seeds complement the dish and make it complete. 

Necessary products

for breading :

  • 1-2 eggs
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 4 tablespoons breadcrumbs
  • 4 tablespoons sliced ​​almonds, chopped

for turkey schnitzels:

  • 300 grams of turkey meat
  • 1/2 head onion, chopped
  • 1/2 egg or 1 whole, but small
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • salt, pepper and cumin or spices to taste
  • 6 tablespoons olive oil

for serving :

  • 50-100 grams of arugula
  • 15 grams of grated parmesan
  • 1 tablespoon pomegranate seeds
  • 1-2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

Method of preparation :

Mix the minced turkey with the onion, egg, flour and spices to taste.

Mix the egg in a bowl and pour the flour into a small shallow dish with spices to taste. Mix the breadcrumbs and crushed almonds in another plate.

Roll the turkey schnitzels first in the flour (tap to drop the excess), then dip in the egg and finally in the breadcrumbs.

Heat olive oil and fry the schnitzels in it for 1-2 minutes on the side or until ready and acquire a golden tan.

Serve the turkey schnitzels on a garnish of arugula, pomegranate seeds and grated Parmesan. Season with balsamic vinegar and serve.
