Necessary products:

1 egg

1 teaspoon yogurt

1 teaspoon oil

1 packet of baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

3-4 tea cups of flour

1 egg yolk to spread

Method of preparation:

Mix all products except flour. Then gradually add it, stirring after each cup. Knead a soft dough that does not stick to your hands. Knead quickly and a little hard, because the cakes will be firm. If desired, you can put a filling of your choice.

Line a form with baking paper, preheat the oven to 180 - 200 degrees.

Break the egg-sized balls from the dough, form cakes from them and arrange them in the tray, leaving enough space between them. Flatten them lightly and spread with beaten egg yolk. If you decide to use the filling, do not roll out the dough, but put it directly into the ball and press.

Before placing the loaves to bake, make furrows on their surface with a fork. Put in the oven for 15 - 25 minutes (depending on the oven) until they acquire a golden color.

You can turn these delicious cakes into great sandwiches with tomato and cheese, for example.

Enjoy your meal!
