Necessary products:

  • 3 eggs (separate 1 yolk to spread on the bread)
  • 1 tsp milk
  • 1 tsp soda
  • 1 pack. dry yeast
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp Sol
  • 500-700 grams of flour (as much as the dough absorbs)
  • 100 grams of butter
  • 350 grams of cheese

Method of preparation:

Dissolve the yeast in water, add the sugar and wait until it swells like a "hat". Knead the dough from all the listed products (excluding cheese and butter) and leave for half an hour to rise. Then divide it into 3 parts and roll each of them into a rectangle. Spread generously with melted butter, sprinkle with grated cheese and roll.

Grease the pan in which you will bake tutmanika with oil. Cut the resulting rolls into pieces 2-3 cm long and arrange in the dish, placing them vertically. Do not place them too close to each other, because they will increase in volume. Spread the yolk separated earlier on top. Leave for about 20 minutes, then place in a preheated 200 degree oven for 30 minutes. When the tutmanik is baked, remove from the oven and spray with water. Cover with a towel and leave for 15 minutes.
