Required products :
2 teaspoons sifted flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
150 grams of softened butter
2 eggs
1 teaspoon yogurt
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract or a few packets of vanilla
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon soda
For the caramel glaze:
1/2 teaspoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon high-fat liquid cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
pinch of salt
Method of preparation :
Mix the flour with the baking soda, salt and baking powder. Beat the butter and sugar with a mixer on medium speed until light brown and airy. Add the vanilla while beating. Then put the eggs one by one.
Beat the yogurt.
Combine the beaten butter and sugar with the flour and yoghurt.
Grease the bottom of a suitable form with oil, cover with parchment and grease it. Pour the dough into the bowl and shake several times to remove any air bubbles.
Bake the cake in a preheated 180 degree oven until golden (about 35-40 minutes). Check readiness with a toothpick.
Leave the marsh for 10 minutes to cool a bit, use a knife to separate it from the walls of the dish and turn over on a wire rack. Then let it cool completely.
Mix the cream with the brown sugar, add a pinch of salt. Put the mixture on the stove and bring to a boil over medium heat. Stir constantly until the sweet crystals melt. The glaze should start to thicken (12-15 minutes) and then add the vanilla extract.
Drizzle the cake with caramel and leave to cool.
