How To Cook Veal Meatballs In Tomato Sauce With Onions And Yellow Cheese - Recipe

Required products :

  • 450 grams of minced beef
  • 1/4 tea cup yellow onion, grated
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon chili sauce
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 1/2 tea cups tomato sauce
  • 2/3 tea cup grated yellow cheese
  • fresh parsley for sprinkling

Method of preparation :

 

  • Preheat oven to 220 degrees.
  • In a large bowl, combine the onion, breadcrumbs, egg, parsley, chili sauce, chili powder and cumin. Mix well and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add the minced meat and knead it briefly.
  • Shape the meatballs using 1 tablespoon of the mixture.
  • Grease a large pan with oil and heat it over medium heat.
  • Bake the meatballs for about 3 minutes on each side and transfer them to a pan.
  • Drizzle with tomato sauce and sprinkle with grated cheese.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes until the cheese is melted.
  • Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve.
