Necessary products:

  • 500 grams of beef
  • 2 onions, peeled and finely chopped
  • 1 peeled and sliced ​​carrot
  • 150 grams of frozen peas
  • 100 grams of canned green beans
  • 3-4 potatoes
  • half a red pepper, peeled and sliced
  • 50 grams of canned corn
  • 2 ripe tomatoes, peeled and grated
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • salt, black and red pepper to taste
  • 2 sprigs of fresh mint
  • 1 clove of garlic, finely chopped
  • 50 milliliters of red wine
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 30 grams of butter

Method of preparation:

Heat the butter in a saucepan and fry the beef. Add finely chopped onions, carrots, peppers and stir.

Add the tomatoes, tomato paste, peas, corn, green beans and season with salt, black and red pepper, chopped fresh mint, bay leaf and garlic. Stir again, add the diced potatoes and pour 1 teaspoon of water along with the wine.

Reduce the heat to a minimum, cook the dish under a lid for an hour. Then increase the temperature, stir and cook for 30 minutes. Sprinkle portions and serve the dish warm.
