Required products :

  • 1 sweet yellow pepper
  • 2 hot peppers
  • 2 onions
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 600 grams of beef
  • 300 grams of tomatoes in their own juice
  • 400 grams of pumpkin
  • 100 grams of canned corn
  • 1/3 teaspoon grated ginger root
  • 1/3 teaspoon curry powder
  • black pepper and salt

 

Method of preparation :

Clean the sweet pepper from the seeds, cut it into thin strips. Finely chop the hot peppers.

Peel onions and garlic, cut them. Turn the meat into small cubes.

Fry onion and garlic in oil. Once they turn red, add all the peppers and let the mixture cook for 5 minutes.

Then pour the veal over the vegetables and fry it on all sides. Close the pan with a lid and leave on low heat for 10 minutes.

Finely chop the tomatoes, remove the skins and add the flesh to the meat with the vegetables.

Pour 150 milliliters of hot water, season to taste and let the dish simmer for 40 minutes.

Cut the pumpkin into large pieces and place it in the bowl next to the veal together with the corn kernels. Sprinkle with curry powder, ginger and stew for another 7 minutes.
