How To Cook Vegetable Dumplings - Recipe

Required products :

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 2 teaspoons brown mushrooms, chopped
  • 300 grams of mixed cabbage salad (1 package)
  • 4 spring onions, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 250 grams of round wonton dumpling crusts

Method of preparation :

Heat olive oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat and saute the grated ginger. Add the mushrooms and cook until their water evaporates, then pour the packet of coleslaw and cook until the vegetables are soft.

Season with spring onion, pepper, sesame oil and soy sauce, stir, transfer to a bowl and set aside to cool.

Fill one half of each round dumpling crust with 2 teaspoons of the mixture. Smear the edges with cold water, fold and press.

Boil the dumplings in a water bath, placed on a steamer rack covered with baking paper. Cook them in batches for about 6 minutes or until soft. Serve with garnish of choice.

You can store the dumplings in the freezer for up to 3 months.
