How To Cook Vegetable Ragout With Mushrooms And Garlic - Recipe

Required products :

  • 400 grams of mushrooms
  • 100 grams of carrots
  • 150 grams of onions
  • 200 grams of cabbage
  • 200 grams of zucchini
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • parsley or other green spices
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 5 tablespoons oil
  • 2 tablespoons marinade

 

Method of preparation :

Wash, clean and chop all the vegetables (you can peel the zucchini if ​​you wish).

 

Fry the chopped onion in oil (on high heat for about 5 minutes).

 

 

Add the mushrooms, stir and fry for 3-4 minutes.

 

 

Carrots follow. Stir again and leave the mixture for another 3 minutes on high heat.

 

 

It's time for the chopped cabbage. Mix it with the other products in the pan, reduce the heat and fry over medium heat for 3-4 minutes.

 

 

Pour the zucchini, cut into medium cubes.

 

Stir.

 

Add salt, bay leaf.

 

Pour 2 tablespoons of marinade (you can use one of pickles or pickled tomatoes).

 

Mix everything and close the container with a lid. Reduce heat to low and let the ragout cook for another 20 minutes.

 

Meanwhile, chop the green spices.

 

Add them at the end of the heat treatment in the pan together with the crushed garlic cloves.

 

Stir, close the lid and turn off the stove.

 

The finished ragout is delicious both hot and cold.

 

Store in the refrigerator for about 3-4 days.

 

You can serve as a side dish or as a main course.
